Why I am running for Harrisville City Council...

I'm running for Harrisville City Council because I believe in the potential of our community and want to help us move forward together. Here are three key priorities I hope to bring to the council:

  1. Strengthening representation so residents feel heard and valued in city decisions.

  2. Promoting thoughtful, responsible budgeting that considers the impact on taxpayers.

  3. Revitalizing community pride through meaningful city traditions and events that reflect who we are.

Join me in shaping a future for Harrisville that reflects the voices, values, and vision of its people.

About Me

I've been a proud resident of Harrisville since 1999. It's where I’ve raised my family and built lasting friendships. I fell in love with this area because of the people and the strong sense of community that defines our city.

I’ve been blessed to share my life with my wife, my high school sweetheart. Together we’ve raised four amazing children, and our family has grown through the three wonderful men who married our daughters. Today we are proud grandparents of three energetic grandsons, with a granddaughter on the way. My family is my anchor, and it is my love for them—and my desire to protect the people and values we all hold dear—that motivates me to serve Harrisville

Over the past two years, I’ve served as Vice-Chair of the Weber County Republican Party. My involvement in local politics has grown out of a deep conviction: the surest way to lose the things we love about our community is to do nothing to protect them. That’s why I’m stepping up—to help preserve what makes Harrisville special.

I believe we are at a pivotal moment in Harrisville’s future. Growth is inevitable, but we can—and must—grow in ways that keep our small-town character intact. That requires principled leadership, thoughtful budgeting, and open communication with the people who live here.

Above all, I believe in protecting individual freedom. The best way to do that is to ensure the people govern themselves—through strong local representation and meaningful civic engagement. I am a firm believer in the Constitution of the United States, which begins by placing the highest power not in government, but in the hands of the people.
